What Happened at the ACE January 12th Meeting
Discussion about joining Cobb Schools Foundation
Since it's inception, ACE has been on track to become an official 501c3 non profit organization. What we have found out is that the process is expensive and time consuming. Therefore, the executive board has decided to explore the possibility of joining with the Cobb Schools Foundation as Local School Fund. We will invite Sheri Brante, Executive Director of Cobb Schools Foundation to a special meeting to talk about the Foundation and answer questions from our members. Please click the link above to see the FAQs for the Foundation.
Arrow Academy
Arrow Academy is an ACE sponsored academic tutoring program focused on helping our students in math. Our committee of Darius Thomas, Dr. Connie Holloway, Mr. Henry Lust and Cornelius Savage have worked hard on putting together a curriculum and gathering community support for the program. The program is scheduled to start soon and the committee will make a presentation to the members at our next meeting.
College Signing Day
Over the years, McEachern athletes have had signing days on campus to announce where they will play sports in college. ACE wants to extend that exciting moment to all of our college bound seniors to recognize their achievements. Therefore, we are putting together a committee to start this new McEachern tradition. We need parents to help us put together this event. If you have any questions, please email me at mceachernhasace@gmail.com Thanks for your support for our students, Stephen Hinton President McEachern Academic Council for Excellence
